Der Einsatz erneuerbarer Energien und die Reduktion des CO2-Ausstoßes
beschäftigen seit Jahrzehnten Wissenschaftler rund um den Globus. In
der Golfregion stoßen diese Bemühungen teilweise noch auf Unverständnis
und Verwunderung. Um ein besseres Bewusstsein für die Umwelt zu
schaffen, setzten nun Ausbilder schon bei den Kleinsten der Kleinen an
und starteten ein theoretisches und praktisches Lernprogramm an der
Emirates National School (ENS) in Abu Dhabi.
Das Unternehmen „SYNLIFT Systems GmbH“ aus Deutschland ist ein
Vorreiter in der Schulung von Lehrern und Schülern in Bezug auf den
Gewinn und Einsatz erneuerbarer Energien, die zunehmend die konventionellen
Energiequellen ersetzen und unseren täglichen Bedarf an Strom
und Kraftstoff decken müssen. Die Ausbilder starteten 2006 mit dem
Bildungsprogramm „The Solar World – Education in Renewables“ schulbegleitend
an der Emirates National School (ENS) in Abu Dhabi. Nach
erfolgreichem Abschluss im Sommer 2007 soll das Programm auch in
anderen Schulen realisiert werden.
Das Programm „The Solar-World“ kombiniert fundierte Wissenschaft
mit praktischen Übungen. Inhalt und Organisation sind auf den jeweiligen
Kunden optimal ausgelegt, und in Form eines kombinierbaren Baukastensystems
finden sowohl für Lehrer, als auch für Schüler die nötigen
Schulungen statt. Die Besonderheit des Programms liegt darin, dass es

These efforts are often met with incomprehension and mystification in
the Gulf Region. To create a better understanding of the environment,
instructors are starting by educating the very young. They have begun
a theoretical and practical learning program at the Emirates National
School (ENS) in Abu Dhabi.
“SYNLIFT Systems, GMBH” from Germany is a forerunner in
instructing teachers and students about the acquisition and usage of
renewable energy which will eventually have to replace the conventional
energy sources and cover our daily needs for electricity and fuel.
Instructors started in 2006 with the “Teach the Teacher” program “The
Solar World – Education in Renewables” at the Emirates National
School (ENS) in Abu Dhabi. After successful completion in the summer
of 2007, the program will now be implemented in other schools.
The program “Solar World” combines substantiated science with
practical applications. Topics of the program are organized to suit the
client and are optimally tailored so they can be combined and used like
a building-block-system which will benefit the teacher as well as the
student with individual schooling. What makes this program special
is the individual tailoring to accommodate the client’s specific needs as
