The Gaza Strip border crossing with Egypt must be looked<br />

after, but Israel has been pressured to turn the job over to<br />

the EU. What might the consequences be?<br />

Israel announced on Tuesday that the EU will send<br />

inspectors “with real powers” to monitor the Rafah border<br />

crossing between the Palestinian-controlled Gaza Strip and<br />

Egypt.<br />
