With a higher output than the O 300,
the O 410 has been designed for use as a
mid-fi eld or main monitor. The O 410 can be
used free-standing or fl ush mounted into a
wall, and, in multi-channel systems, can be
mixed freely with other loudspeakers in the

Progress Built On Tradition
In 1945 Horst Klein and Walter Hummel founded a company to develop the perfect devices
for perfect sound reproduction. They assembled a team of specialists near Stuttgart: a team
that has developed premium products for over sixty years. Since then, K+H has shown an
unwavering pioneer spirit in achieving perfect sound reproduction. During this time the age
of High Fidelity started, and it was realised that there was a demand for equipment that
was meant to be the best. K+H was in a position to satisfy this demand as it had a company
philosophy of designing products with perfect sound and product quality. Some of the
pioneering designs were the world’s fi rst active loudspeaker “OY” (1967), the fi rst German
ELA amplifi er (1958), and the “DELTA-8-Beschallungssystem”.

Subwoofers Become More Sophisticated
As consumer technology advances at
ever-faster rates, professional technology
increasingly fi nds itself trying to keep up.
An example of this is the advent of Bluray
and other high defi nition formats that
have increased the audio channel count
to 7.1. The O 870 and O 810 are an answer
to these new demands by offering a new
7.1 High Defi nition Bass Manager (see
box-out). The latest amplifi er technology
and acoustical components have been
used to ensure the most accurate sound
reproduction possible. Robust drivers, a
rock-solid cabinet, and carefully designed
ports guarantee a tight, articulate, and
distortion-free low frequency reproduction,
even at high replay levels. Using the sum
