Randy Kling
The home page of Randy Kling’s website
(www.discmastering.net) sums up a familiar
story of studio professionals worldwide
who discovered Tannoy early in their career
and have never found a reason to move
away. From Elvis Presley to Alice Cooper
and through to the present day Randy’s
engineering talents span over 50 years in
the business during which time he has
racked up an astonishing 300 gold and
platinum records. A constant in his studio
equipment list throughout his career -

“Through the passage of time, from tape to
vinyl to digital, I’ve always used the same
brand of monitors.”
Tony Maserati
When mixing ace Tony Maserati shows up
for work, whether in Manhattan mixing
Mary J or Beyonce, out in Los Angeles with
Ron Fair and the Black Eyed Peas, or in
Miami with J Lo, he’s comforted by a few
certainties. The software on his hard drive,
the analogue outboard in his fl ight case,
and his trusted Tannoy monitors, provide

Carmen Rizzo
Producer and mixer, Carmen Rizzo, is a

Landmark speaker models and developments punctuate
