¨ The faculty of the department is expected to visit the selected industries<br />
and identify suitable problems to be handled by students.<br />
¨ It will be desirable that problems be matched with the interests of<br />
students.<br />
¨ It is recommended that a group of 5-6 students be guided by one faculty<br />
member during this period.<br />
Evaluation<br />
The distribution of marks shall be as follow:<br />
Institute-500 Marks<br />
Industry -400 Marks<br />
External viva -Voce- 100 Marks<br />
The evaluation of students is proposed to be done by internal faculty with<br />
active involvement of industrial personnel. The evaluation may be based<br />
on following criteria:<br />
¨ Punctuality and Attendance ¨ Interpersonal relations<br />
¨ Sense of Responsibility<br />
- Clarity of concepts, principles and procedures<br />
¨ Self expression/communication skills<br />
¨ Report Writing Skills<br />
¨ Creativity/conceiving new and unusual ideas<br />
¨ Problem-solving skills
