3. Inventory Control: Need and meaning of inventory, types of inventory, functions of
inventory control, Inventory costs, Inventory control tool - ABC, VED, XYZ and FSN:
Economic order Quantity and replenishment of stocks. Physical control of inventory:
Fixed order, Two bin and Kardex systems - Material requirement planning (MRP-I)
