Application area:<br />
The wire is intended for (valve) spring manufacture.<br />
The 65MnA steel grade is used for manufacture of<br />
wire class 1 and 2. Class 1 wire may be<br />
manufactured of <strong>the</strong> 15CrVA steel grade.<br />
Chemical composition is given in Table 1.<br />

Wire is hardened by chilling, and tempered on given<br />
lengths. Wire is shipped in coils with inside diameter<br />
not less than 400 mm with preservative oil.<br />
• 0.30 – 4.0 mm –<br />
inner diameter 600 mm or 1200 mm<br />
• 4.1 – 5.5 mm – inner diameter 1200 mm<br />
• coil weight can be 40 –50 kg, and up to 80 kg<br />
• wrapping – paraffin paper + wrapping cloth<br />
