History Is Fun for “Groups of All Ages” at Yorktown Victory Center
Enhance your group’s experience by viewing the film, touring gallery exhibits and outdoor
living-history areas, or participating in a hands-on program. See a rare broadside printing of
the Declaration of Independence dating to July 1776. Adult and multigenerational groups may
consider a Legacy Learning Program or Guided Sampler Tour. Student educational groups choose
from a variety of curriculum-based guided tours and hands-on programs — all taught by trained
museum educators and adapted to specific grade levels and designed to meet Virginia Standards
of Learning/U.S. History standards. Educational videos, lesson plans, essays, and information about
Scout, homeschool and teacher training programs are available at www.historyisfun.org.
