Richmond International Airport (RIC)<br />

Location I See Map A-3 I Richmond International Airport (RIC) is located seven miles east of<br />

Richmond’s central business district, one mile south of I-64 on Airport Drive (Exit 197A), and 35<br />

minutes from <strong>Williamsburg</strong>.<br />

Scheduled Service I Approximately 180 daily flights offer nonstop service to more than 20 major<br />

gateways, with connecting service to most domestic and international destinations. Airlines offering<br />

service from RIC include Air Canada, AirTran, American, Continental, Delta, JetBlue, United and<br />

US Airways.<br />

Charter I Federal Inspection Station (FIS) for international flights, multiple ground handlers. Charter<br />

flights offered by Aero Industries, Million Air, Inc. and Richmond Jet Center fixed-base operations.<br />

Ground Service I Ground transportation options at RIC include taxicabs, executive sedans and<br />

limousines, irregular route shared-ride to/from nearby military facilities, motorcoach charters and<br />

limited public transit as offered by the GRTC Transit System. Rental car providers Alamo, Avis,<br />

Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty offer services in the terminal. RIC has ample<br />

curbside parking to facilitate motorcoach pick-up and drop-off operations.<br />

Other Services I Food and beverage offerings include everything from full-service dining to fast<br />

food and treats in eight restaurants across the terminal complex. Other amenities include free WiFi,<br />

ATMs, full-service banking, regional gifts and apparel, shoe shine service, business center with free<br />

WiFi, ethernet Internet access and private meeting rooms, visitor information center and group arrival<br />

packages. Full-service catering and “meals to go” are available for all group travel requirements.<br />

Highlights I Easy “four points” access to all attractions from Central Virginia’s gateway airport,<br />

including Interstate access to <strong>Williamsburg</strong>, Washington DC, the Blue Ridge Mountains, the<br />

historical sites and museums offered across the region and Virginia Beach.<br />
