COMPLETED K-8TH GRADES
BOYS LACROSSE (7506)
Hands-on instruction on basic skills and fundamentals of the game
through drills and semi-formal games. Campers should bring all
equipment needed: gloves, helmet, stick, elbow pads, mouthpiece,
shoulder pads, sneakers and cleats. The Y can provide sticks if
needed. Instruction takes place from 9:00 to 12:00. Thursday,
campers will participate in games with other Ys. In the afternoon,
campers participate in traditional day camp activities such as
recreational swim, games, nature walks and cookout on Friday.
Campers need lunch, water bottle, swim suit, towel, and sun screen

CIRCUS CAMP (7377)
Run away to the circus at the Brandywine Y. Circus of the Kids
returns to teach campers circus arts with a special mix of learning,
exercise, character building and just plain fun. Auditions start on
Monday at 9:00 am. The week is scheduled around the rehearsal
schedule. Schedule is posted Tuesday morning. Some campers may
have to practice until 6:00 p.m. The Y will provide care for the acts
that practice after 4:00 p.m. Campers will perform their amazing
acts for family and friends Thursday evening at 7:00 pm and Friday
morning. Tickets are $5.00. Campers need lunch, water bottle, and

GOLF CAMP (7509)
Campers are transported to the Eric MacCluen Golf Academy
located at Applecross Country Club to receive instruction and work
on the basic swing, rules and etiquette of the game. Advanced
campers will work on different types of shots. Campers will play
the course when available. The academy does have equipment for
campers to use but if campers have golf equipment, they should
bring it with them. We will keep their equipment at camp during
the week. Campers should dress in proper golf attire each day
(walking shorts, collared shirt or golf outfit for girls). Campers
return to the Hanby Outdoor Center around 2:00 pm and join
camp activities. Cookout lunch on Friday. Campers need lunch,
water bottle, towel, swim suit, and sun screen daily. For more

INSTRUCTIONAL BOWLING CAMP (7526)
Campers travel by bus to First State Lanes each morning to learn
the basic fundamentals of bowling from certified bowling
instructors. Campers will bowl a game after their lesson to practice
their skills. For a full day option add Karate Camp in the afternoon.

KARATE CAMP (7504)
Campers are introduced to Tae Kwon Do Martial Arts taught by
certified USMAA black belt instructors with several years of
training. Comfortable sneakers and clothing are needed. For a full
day option, add Bowling Camp in the morning. For more
