CAMP QUOOWANT
ENTERING K - COMPLETING 9TH GRADE
Held at the Hanby Outdoor Center, located on Chestnut Street, connecting Marsh & Darley Rds. Monday – Friday, 9:00-4:00 pm.
Campers may arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of camp. Campers receive a free camp t-shirt the first week they attend.
AM and PM care is also available, 7:00-9:00 am; 4:00-6:00 pm.
EXPLORERS 7210 (GIRLS), 7211 (BOYS)
Activities are centered around a weekly theme. Campers participate
in a daily “POW-WOW”, to find out about the day’s activities, learn
camp songs and be silly with the entire Explorer group. Staff
encourage our youngest campers to meet new friends, try new
activities, become responsible for their belongings and have fun.
Activities include daily morning swim lessons, afternoon free swim,
cookouts on Thursdays and a special activity is planned on Fridays.
Campers should bring lunch, water bottle, swim suit, towel and
sunscreen daily.
Ages: Entering Kindergarten thru completed 1st grade
Fees: Full Member: $212 / Program Member: $248
Session 4 (no camp 7/4):
Full Member: $168 / Program Member $200
ADVENTURERS 7212 (GIRLS), 7213 (BOYS)
Activities and POW-WOW are based around the week’s theme.
Adventure campers will live the theme all week. Staff are full of
camp spirit and encourage new friendships, trying new activities,
caring and respecting others in the group and becoming more
independent. Activities include daily morning swim lessons and an
afternoon free swim. Field trips are scheduled every Wednesday to
local state parks, bowling, or skating rinks. Thursday is cookout
day and a special activity is planned every Friday. Campers should
bring lunch, water bottle, swim suit, towel and sunscreen daily.
Ages: Campers who have completed 2nd-3rd grade

Session 4 (no camp 7/4)

EXTENDED DAY- 7:00 TO 9:00 AM OR 4:00 TO 6:00 PM.
AM and PM care is a supervised, partially structured time which
allows children to either relax and prepare for the day or wind
down after a long day at camp. A variety of activities will be made
available if campers choose to participate. Snack is provided.
Campers signed up for AM care will be taken to their appropriate
camp. Campers signed up for PM care will return to extended care
at the end of their camp day. On rainy days, AM and PM care will
meet in the barn.

VOYAGERS 7214 (GIRLS), 7215 (BOYS)
Voyager campers are given the opportunity to choose the
activities they’d like to participate in each day. Staff encourage
campers to work cooperatively and make good choices. We also
encourage them to lead by example on how to be a model camper
for our younger campers. Campers participate daily in a morning
swim lesson and afternoon free swim. Voyagers cook out on
Wednesdays, and take off-site trips on Thursdays. Campers
should bring lunch, water bottle, swim suit, towel and sunscreen
daily.
Ages: Campers who have completed 4th-5th grade
Fees: Full Member: $228 / Program Member: $264
Session 4 (no camp 7/4)
Full Member: $183 / Program Member $212
PIONEERS 7216 (GIRLS), 7217 (BOYS)
Pioneer campers are challenged with interesting activities, can
choose to assist with other camp activities or socialize and hang
out with friends. Pioneers cookout on Wednesday and join the
Voyager’s off-site trip on Thursday. Campers should bring lunch,
water bottle, swim suit, towel and sun screen daily.
Ages: Campers who have completed 6th-7th grade
Fees: Full Member: $228 / Program Member: $264
Session 4 (no camp 7/4)

LEADERS IN TRAINING (7601)
LITs learn skills that enable them to lead groups and then
put their skills to use the last two weeks of the session.
Activities include icebreakers, training, group work, special
events, games, free time and swimming. Campers need to apply.
Packets will be available in early February at the front desk of
the Y. Please make sure to have your application, completed
references and choose an interview date. Campers should bring
lunch, sunscreen, swim suit, and towel, and most important of
