else. But in winter many tourists from different countries come to Erzurum to ski.

- Erzurum is the most important city in Eastern Turkey in terms of tourist
attractions. There are many historical places such as Double Minarets, Castle,
Grand Mosque, Yakutiye Madrasah and Aziziye military fortification. On the
other hand, our ski center is one of the top centers in the country. 2011 winter
Universiade will be held there. There will be more than 4000 people coming to
Erzurum for the Universiade.
