A- Hello Gentleman. Welcome. Please come in and take a seat.
B- Thank you sir.
A- What is your name?
B- My name is B. B.
A- Where are you from Mr. B.?
B- I am from Erzurum.
A- Ok. Mr. B. Please tell me about yourself.

B- OK. I was born in Hasankale in 1980. Hasankale is a town in Erzurum Province,
37 kilometers to the east of the City of Erzurum. I went to elementary school in
Hasankale, secondary school in Erzurum and University in Ankara. I graduated
from the Department of Agricultural Economics in the College of Agriculture at
Ankara University in 2004. I have completed my military service in Bornova,
Izmir. I have worked in the Ministry of Agriculture in Ankara for two years. I
have been working for a consultancy firm in the field of plant protection products
for the past 6 months in Ankara. Now I am here trying move to Istanbul and work
for your company.
A- Thank you Mr. B. for the information you gave. But we need some additional
information. Please tell us why you want to work with us and how you can help
us do our job better.
B- OK sir. There are several reasons why I want to work with your Company. First
of all I decided to seek employment in Istanbul because I wanted to move to
Istanbul from Ankara for family reasons. That is why I was looking for a proper
position in Istanbul, reading advertisements on the newspapers. I read your
advertisement on the paper and saw that my qualifications are in line with your
requirements. I have had an experience in foreign trade while I was working in the
Ministry. I am an expert on export import formalities. Your company is engaged
in importing agricultural products. I am an agricultural engineer and I have dealt
with these products for over two years. On the other hand, I am fluent in English;
I can use several computer and accounting programs efficiently; I don’t mind
traveling; I am willing to work long hours; I am a team worker. I have been
known to be a man of integrity and intelligence. You can check all this
information with the General Director of the Externally Financed Projects
Department in the Ministry. Because of all these reasons, I want to work with
you. If my qualifications had not been in line with your requirements, I would not
have attempted at all to apply for this position.
A- Thank you for your information. You seem to be a good candidate for the
