Brian Glidden, P.E., L.S.
Brian is a GIS project manager and trainer for
GDMS where he performs implementation,
consulting, and training services. He is also an
Autodesk ® Authorized Consultant. He has taught
AutoCAD ® and GIS classes for the past 10 years.
Previously, he worked in the civil engineering
field as a principal engineer and CAD manager.
Anthony Governanti
Anthony is an application engineer at Autodesk
specializing in networking techniques and
license management. Previously, he was a product
support analyst for Autodesk for 3 years. He is
experienced in construction inspection, athletic
field design, and subdivision design. Industry
background includes civil engineering, specializing
in subsurface design (sewer, drainage, and pipe
networks). Anthony holds Associate degrees in
both Architecture and Civil Engineering.
Robert Green
Robert is a nationally known author and consultant
based in Atlanta. He heads the Robert Green
Consulting Group and has an Internet venture
called CAD-Manager.com that provides
information and services to the CAD management
community. You’ve likely read his work in
CADENCE magazine, Autodesk’s Point A Toplines,
MCADCafe, or in his CAD Manager newsletter. In
addition to writing, Robert provides customized
implementation and software integration services
for a variety of clients throughout the United
States and Canada. Robert holds a degree in
Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia
Institute of Technology.
Alvie Griffith
Alvie is a professional surveyor and mapper
(PSM). Currently, he is the product manager for
Autodesk’s CAiCE Visual Survey product. Prior to
joining the CAiCE team, Alvie worked for the
Florida Department of Transportation for 8 years
in the positions of survey crew chief, final
estimates engineer, and PSM/technical reviewer.
Alvie holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He is also
pursuing a master’s degree in Management
Information Systems at Nova Southeastern
University.
Mario Guttman, AIA
Mario is corporate CAD director for HOK Group,
Inc., a multidisciplinary international design firm
with 20 offices in seven countries. He is a licensed
architect with degrees in mathematics and
architecture. In addition to practicing architecture
for 20 years, he has worked in software
development, computer-aided facility
management, and construction.
Wolfgang Haller
Wolfgang works as a lecturer on Geographical
Information Systems supporting Facility
Management at Technical University of Munich.
In 1990 he joined Munich Airport where he
introduced CAD and GIS systems. In 2002, he
started a project to integrate GIS data and
mobile computing. Most recently, the project has
introduced Tablet PCs to support business
processes at the airport. Wolfgang studied civil
engineering.
Baruch Heinoch
Baruch is president of the private G.G. Systems,
the leading GIS consultants in Israel for the last
14 years. Baruch earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees
at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. He
serves as colonel in I.D.F reserve forces. He also
leads the most advanced GIS projects in Israel at
the Ministry of Defense, Homeland Security
Systems, Survey of Israel, the Military Survey, and
the city of Kfar-Saba., and developed the CMS -
Cemetery Management System.
John Herridge, AIA
John is a registered architect in the state of Ohio.
He has 14 years of professional work experience
with many building and construction types. As an
application engineer, his primary focus is
Autodesk ® Architectural Desktop and Autodesk ®
Revit ® , but he also serves the needs of the
Autodesk Building Systems products. He provides
customization, deployment, and training services.
John received a B.S. in Architecture from Ohio
State University in 1987.
Heidi Hewett
Heidi is a technical marketing manager at
Autodesk and has been using AutoCAD ® for 17
years. After earning her B.S. in Architectural
Engineering from the University of Colorado, she
worked as a lighting designer for a small electrical
engineering firm. Heidi joined Autodesk in 1992
and has held a variety of AutoCAD-related
positions, including product support technician,
training specialist, and senior applications
engineer. In her current position, Heidi assists the
AutoCAD development teams in developing and
delivering technical marketing material for
AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT ® .
Yoshi Honda
Yoshi is president of Pacific CADD Services, Inc., a
CAD production service company based in
Hawaii. In addition to commercial CAD production,
Pacific CADD Services performs CAD management
for clients, fosters CAD awareness, and conducts
seminars in the United States and internationally.
An AutoCAD ® user since 1989, Yoshi is a longtime
member of AUGI ® .He has held various AUGI
board positions including education & training
chair, vice-president, and president. Honda
remains active in the Aloha State AutoCAD User
group, which he founded in 1995.
Ron House
Ron is a data architect and software engineer in
Network Systems Development at Sprint. He
specializes in developing online Geographic
Information Systems employing Autodesk
MapGuide ® and AutoCAD ® .Ron is the author of
Special Edition: Using AutoCAD ® 2000, which has
been published in six languages. Ron earned a
B.A. in Architectural Engineering at Kansas State
University.
Peter Jamtgaard
Peter has 18 years of multidiscipline work
experience with AutoCAD ® and AutoLISP ® as an
engineer, designer, draftsman, and programmer.
He is currently the engineering/CAD manager for
Cordeck Sales, Inc., and is engaged in steel deck
detailing and construction in the Chicago Area.
Peter serves on the AUGI ® board of directors,
manages its Guild system, and is involved with
many AUGI activities. Peter holds a Civil
Engineering Technician degree from Gateway
Technical College and a B.S. in Civil and
Environmental Engineering from Marquette
University.
John Janzen
John is an architectural CAD consultant with
more than 19 years of professional experience. As
an Autodesk ® Authorized Independent AEC
Consultant and an Autodesk ® Technical Specialist,
John was involved with the development of
Autodesk ® Architectural Desktop, working on the
beta test and development teams. He also
helped develop training techniques used to
introduce the software. John has traveled
throughout Europe and Asia training and
speaking about customizing Autodesk
Architectural Desktop.
R. Kirk Johnson, AIA, NCARB
Kirk is a practicing architect and architectural
educator. Currently, he is a senior associate at
DuBose Associates, Inc. in Hartford, Connecticut.
He also teaches architectural modeling, rendering,
and digital presentation courses at the University
of Hartford. Kirk has used Autodesk ® software for
15 years. He has practiced architecture for
20-plus years, and has taught architectural design
and modeling for 13 years.
Bobby Jones
Bobby has been customizing AutoCAD ® software
starting with AutoCAD Release 10 in 1991. He has
worked for several companies and CAD consultants,
including Exxon and Beazer Homes, with whom
he is currently employed. With these companies,
he developed custom CAD and database applications
ranging from document management to
payment tracking systems. Bobby is a contributing
member of the popular developers’ website,
AcadX.com. He also serves as the AUGI ®
Architectural Desktop Guild moderator.
