Brian Glidden, P.E., L.S.<br />
Brian is a GIS project manager and trainer for<br />
GDMS where he performs implementation,<br />
consulting, and training services. He is also an<br />
Autodesk ® Authorized Consultant. He has taught<br />
AutoCAD ® and GIS classes for the past 10 years.<br />
Previously, he worked in the civil engineering<br />
field as a principal engineer and CAD manager.<br />
Anthony Governanti<br />
Anthony is an application engineer at Autodesk<br />
specializing in networking techniques and<br />
license management. Previously, he was a product<br />
support analyst for Autodesk for 3 years. He is<br />
experienced in construction inspection, athletic<br />
field design, and subdivision design. Industry<br />
background includes civil engineering, specializing<br />
in subsurface design (sewer, drainage, and pipe<br />
networks). Anthony holds Associate degrees in<br />
both Architecture and Civil Engineering.<br />
Robert Green<br />
Robert is a nationally known author and consultant<br />
based in Atlanta. He heads the Robert Green<br />
Consulting Group and has an Internet venture<br />
called CAD-Manager.com that provides<br />
information and services to the CAD management<br />
community. You’ve likely read his work in<br />
CADENCE magazine, Autodesk’s Point A Toplines,<br />
MCADCafe, or in his CAD Manager newsletter. In<br />
addition to writing, Robert provides customized<br />
implementation and software <strong>integr</strong>ation services<br />
for a variety of clients throughout the United<br />
States and Canada. Robert holds a degree in<br />
Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia<br />
Institute of Technology.<br />
Alvie Griffith<br />
Alvie is a professional surveyor and mapper<br />
(PSM). Currently, he is the product manager for<br />
Autodesk’s CAiCE Visual Survey product. Prior to<br />
joining the CAiCE team, Alvie worked for the<br />
Florida Department of Transportation for 8 years<br />
in the positions of survey crew chief, final<br />
estimates engineer, and PSM/technical reviewer.<br />
Alvie holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He is also<br />
pursuing a master’s degree in Management<br />
Information Systems at Nova Southeastern<br />
University.<br />
Mario Guttman, AIA<br />
Mario is corporate CAD director for HOK Group,<br />
Inc., a multidisciplinary international design firm<br />
with 20 offices in seven countries. He is a licensed<br />
architect with degrees in mathematics and<br />
architecture. In addition to practicing architecture<br />
for 20 years, he has worked in software<br />
development, computer-aided facility<br />
management, and construction.<br />
Wolfgang Haller<br />
Wolfgang works as a lecturer on Geographical<br />
Information Systems supporting Facility<br />
Management at Technical University of Munich.<br />
In 1990 he joined Munich Airport where he<br />
introduced CAD and GIS systems. In 2002, he<br />
started a project to <strong>integr</strong>ate GIS data and<br />
mobile computing. Most recently, the project has<br />
introduced Tablet PCs to support business<br />
processes at the airport. Wolfgang studied civil<br />
engineering.<br />
Baruch Heinoch<br />
Baruch is president of the private G.G. Systems,<br />
the leading GIS consultants in Israel for the last<br />
14 years. Baruch earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees<br />
at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. He<br />
serves as colonel in I.D.F reserve forces. He also<br />
leads the most advanced GIS projects in Israel at<br />
the Ministry of Defense, Homeland Security<br />
Systems, Survey of Israel, the Military Survey, and<br />
the city of Kfar-Saba., and developed the CMS -<br />
Cemetery Management System.<br />
John Herridge, AIA<br />
John is a registered architect in the state of Ohio.<br />
He has 14 years of professional work experience<br />
with many building and construction types. As an<br />
application engineer, his primary focus is<br />
Autodesk ® Architectural Desktop and Autodesk ®<br />
Revit ® , but he also serves the needs of the<br />
Autodesk Building Systems products. He provides<br />
customization, deployment, and training services.<br />
John received a B.S. in Architecture from Ohio<br />
State University in 1987.<br />
Heidi Hewett<br />
Heidi is a technical marketing manager at<br />
Autodesk and has been using AutoCAD ® for 17<br />
years. After earning her B.S. in Architectural<br />
Engineering from the University of Colorado, she<br />
worked as a lighting designer for a small electrical<br />
engineering firm. Heidi joined Autodesk in 1992<br />
and has held a variety of AutoCAD-related<br />
positions, including product support technician,<br />
training specialist, and senior applications<br />
engineer. In her current position, Heidi assists the<br />
AutoCAD development teams in developing and<br />
delivering technical marketing material for<br />
AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT ® .<br />
Yoshi Honda<br />
Yoshi is president of Pacific CADD Services, Inc., a<br />
CAD production service company based in<br />
Hawaii. In addition to commercial CAD production,<br />
Pacific CADD Services performs CAD management<br />
for clients, fosters CAD awareness, and conducts<br />
seminars in the United States and internationally.<br />
An AutoCAD ® user since 1989, Yoshi is a longtime<br />
member of AUGI ® .He has held various AUGI<br />
board positions including education & training<br />
chair, vice-president, and president. Honda<br />
remains active in the Aloha State AutoCAD User<br />
group, which he founded in 1995.<br />
Ron House<br />
Ron is a data architect and software engineer in<br />
Network Systems Development at Sprint. He<br />
specializes in developing online Geographic<br />
Information Systems employing Autodesk<br />
MapGuide ® and AutoCAD ® .Ron is the author of<br />
Special Edition: Using AutoCAD ® 2000, which has<br />
been published in six languages. Ron earned a<br />
B.A. in Architectural Engineering at Kansas State<br />
University.<br />
Peter Jamtgaard<br />
Peter has 18 years of multidiscipline work<br />
experience with AutoCAD ® and AutoLISP ® as an<br />
engineer, designer, draftsman, and programmer.<br />
He is currently the engineering/CAD manager for<br />
Cordeck Sales, Inc., and is engaged in steel deck<br />
detailing and construction in the Chicago Area.<br />
Peter serves on the AUGI ® board of directors,<br />
manages its Guild system, and is involved with<br />
many AUGI activities. Peter holds a Civil<br />
Engineering Technician degree from Gateway<br />
Technical College and a B.S. in Civil and<br />
Environmental Engineering from Marquette<br />
University.<br />
John Janzen<br />
John is an architectural CAD consultant with<br />
more than 19 years of professional experience. As<br />
an Autodesk ® Authorized Independent AEC<br />
Consultant and an Autodesk ® Technical Specialist,<br />
John was involved with the development of<br />
Autodesk ® Architectural Desktop, working on the<br />
beta test and development teams. He also<br />
helped develop training techniques used to<br />
introduce the software. John has traveled<br />
throughout Europe and Asia training and<br />
speaking about customizing Autodesk<br />
Architectural Desktop.<br />
R. Kirk Johnson, AIA, NCARB<br />
Kirk is a practicing architect and architectural<br />
educator. Currently, he is a senior associate at<br />
DuBose Associates, Inc. in Hartford, Connecticut.<br />
He also teaches architectural modeling, rendering,<br />
and digital presentation courses at the University<br />
of Hartford. Kirk has used Autodesk ® software for<br />
15 years. He has practiced architecture for<br />
20-plus years, and has taught architectural design<br />
and modeling for 13 years.<br />
Bobby Jones<br />
Bobby has been customizing AutoCAD ® software<br />
starting with AutoCAD Release 10 in 1991. He has<br />
worked for several companies and CAD consultants,<br />
including Exxon and Beazer Homes, with whom<br />
he is currently employed. With these companies,<br />
he developed custom CAD and database applications<br />
ranging from document management to<br />
payment tracking systems. Bobby is a contributing<br />
member of the popular developers’ website,<br />
AcadX.com. He also serves as the AUGI ®<br />
Architectural Desktop Guild moderator.<br />
