Jason Medal-Katz
Jason is the professional services manager for
Autodesk ® Building Collaboration Services. He
manages a team that provides consulting, training,
and implementation services to Autodesk ®
Buzzsaw ® customers. Previously, Jason was an
AEC application sales engineer for Autodesk Asia
Pacific. Prior to joining Autodesk, Jason practiced
architecture and worked as a CAD manager. He
holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from
the University of California at Berkeley.
Thomas Meehan
Thomas has worked for several years in
architectural firms doing design and production
work as well as CAD management. He is a
certified instructor in AutoCAD ® and Autodesk ®
Architectural Desktop as well as fluent in many
office, graphics, and desktop publishing
applications. He also writes AutoLISP ® and HTML
code. Thomas has a degree in Architecture and is
now completing his exams for a license.
Kelly Meyer
Kelly is the AEC product manager for Autodraft,
Inc., an award-winning Autodesk ® reseller founded
in 1988. Kelly started using AutoCAD ® Version 2.6
in 1985 when he attended a 2-year CAD diploma
program at Caribou College. After graduating,
Kelly developed CAD standards for a roof truss
manufacturer and designed roof and floor
systems until 1989 when he joined Autodraft,
where he has handled sales, technical issues, and
training. He has been an Autodesk ® Certified
Instructor since 1994.
Troy Mifsud
Troy has many years of experience as a CAD
manager and architectural designer on
healthcare and education projects. He was a
former architectural application engineer for a
major Autodesk ® reseller in Boston, where he
implemented Autodesk ® Architectural Desktop,
developed CAD standards, and trained and
supported architectural staff for numerous
clients. Troy specializes in implementation and
standardization of AutoCAD ® and Architectural
Desktop. He earned a Bachelor of Architectural
Technology from Ryerson University in Toronto.
Jerry Milana
Jerry is a senior principal consultant with
Autodesk Professional Services (APS), specializing
in network and operating-specific issues. In
addition to providing support and training to
dealers and major accounts, Jerry also represents
the Product Support Department at product
development meetings. Prior to joining
Autodesk, he was in charge of sales and support
for an AutoCAD ® dealer. Jerry served as president
of an AutoCAD user group and on advisory councils
for local collages. He has accepted numerous
invitations to lecture on TCP/IP networking and
AutoCAD topics. Jerry has also contributed to
CADENCE magazine on networking AutoCAD.

Kevin Miller
Kevin joined Ohio Edison Company in 1986 and
is currently serving as project manager for the
GIS Migration Project at FirstEnergy. The goals of
the project are to migrate the former GPU GIS
to the FirstEnergy GIS platform and develop
interfaces between FirstEnergy’s AM/FM
application and the SAP (ERP) and PowerOn
(OMS) systems at FirstEnergy. Previously Kevin
was coordinator of Geospatial and Engineering
systems at FirstEnergy where his duties included
management of the group responsible for
training, development, and support.
Ronald Montesano
Ronald has 10-plus years of experience in the
engineering design field, including extensive
industry and academic experience. He has taught
introductory and advanced AutoCAD ® classes at
Westchester Community College in Valhalla, New
York since 1992. He works full-time as an engineer
for Paragon Aquatics, one of the largest pool
industry manufacturers in the United States. He
has designed and drafted working plans for
mechanized devices in the architectural, baking,
paper, petrochemical, and semiconductor
industries. Ronald has a B.S. in Engineering from
the University of Buffalo.
Andrew Morsell, P.E.
Andrew owns and operates Spatial Integrators,
Inc., a private GIS and CAD consulting firm.
During the last 5 years, he has been the primary
developer and project manager in charge of the
creation of more than 30 custom Autodesk
MapGuide ® sites for various clients. Prior to
working in the GIS and CAD consulting field,
Andrew worked in the civil, environmental, and
geotechnical industry as a project engineer and
was involved in all phases of field-data collection
and design. He earned a bachelor’s in Geology
and master’s in Geologic Engineering and is a
registered civil engineer.
Neil Munro, P.E.
Neil is a faculty member at the British Columbia
Institute of Technology (BCIT) in Vancouver,
Canada. He is a co-author and contributor on a
number of books and electronic courseware
modules for Autodesk Inventor ® .Neil also pens
Autodesk Inventor tutorials for the Autodesk
website and writes Autodesk Inventor VB
applications in his spare time.
Matt Murphy
As director of the Autodesk ® Authorized Training
Center at Wentworth Institute of Technology in
Boston, Matt is recognized by Autodesk as a
leader in providing professional training since
1985. He has served as an advisor and consultant
to the training industry as chair of the Autodesk
Training Center Executive Committee (ATCEC)
and as an Education Training Specialist (ETS). He
is also an Autodesk ® Certified Instructor and a
Certified Technical Trainer. He has received
numerous instructional awards for his efforts in
raising the quality of the training industry.
Marv Muston
Marv is an AEC professional with 28 years of
experience in the industry. He is AutoCAD ® and
Microsoft certified. He is also president of both
Marv Muston Consulting and the Sarasota
Autodesk User Group. Marv serves AUGI ® as junior
vice-president, and is currently the AUGI manager
for Local User Groups (LUG). In this role, he helps
people around the world find, start, or develop
local user groups in their area.
Keith Nanneman
Keith has been the senior application engineer
for D3 Technical Services in Springfield, Missouri
for the last 5 years. D3 is an Autodesk Service
Center that is focused 100 percent on the
Autodesk mechanical vertical market. Keith holds
a Bachelor of Science degree in Drafting and
Design Technology from Southwest Missouri
State. Keith’s main focus at D3 is the implementation
of Autodesk Inventor ® with new customers,
as well as 2D and 3D CAD automation and
configuration development for existing customers.
Additional responsibilities include training and
supporting Autodesk Inventor users and working
as an engineering design consultant.
Bob Ng
Bob Ng, director in the Business Planning and
Analysis Group at Autodesk, has worked for the
company for 15 years. He is an expert in the field
of CAD economics and has authored numerous
studies on the topics of CAD ROI and design
productivity. He holds a B.A. from the University
of California at Berkeley, and an M.B.A. from
Harvard University.
Brian Palmby
Brian is an application engineer and instructor
specializing in Autodesk ® mechanical software for
INCAT, an Autodesk ® value-added reseller. INCAT
won Autodesk’s only ICE award for Autodesk
Inventor ® Technical Excellence. Brian has been
teaching Autodesk products for 5 years, and has
taught Autodesk Inventor ® since it was first
released.
Tony Peach
Tony is the DWF strategist and evangelist for
Autodesk. He is responsible for providing the
DWF direction across Autodesk and its products.
Tony has extensive knowledge of brand
management and product marketing in multiple
geographic markets both internationally and
domestically. During his 11 years at Autodesk,
he has served in several capacities from quality
assurance, software design, and tools
development, to applications engineer, product
management, and his current role as strategist.
Tony holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical
Engineering with a minor in Computer Science.
