Travis Jones<br />

Travis is a content developer at Autodesk. He has<br />

worked with AutoCAD ® for more than 13 years<br />

and Autodesk Inventor ® since its inception. He<br />

has developed and delivered training courses to<br />

countless people in person, and over the Internet<br />

in virtual training classes. Travis is the co-author<br />

of six books about Autodesk Inventor, and is a<br />

regular speaker at Autodesk University ® .<br />

Toby Jutras<br />

Toby is a senior applications engineer with<br />

Autodesk, specializing in Civil Engineering<br />

Solutions products. Toby regularly presents at<br />

seminars and technical workshops. His understanding<br />

of the construction, civil engineering,<br />

and surveying fields comes from 10 years of<br />

experience working on engineering projects in<br />

New England. Toby has been the lead designer<br />

on a wide array of project types, including<br />

highway interchanges, fuel storage facilities,<br />

and retail/residential projects.<br />

Kerwin Kassulker<br />

Kerwin is an Autodesk ® Authorized Developer<br />

and Microsoft Application Developer. Kerwin has<br />

worked with a wide variety of Autodesk ® products<br />

for 14 years. Currently, he customizes mechanical<br />

applications for the Autodesk Inventor ® API.<br />

Kerwin holds a master’s degree in Manufacturing<br />

Systems from Southern Illinois University, and has<br />

completed advanced studies in Human<br />

Computer Interfacing at Tufts University in<br />

Boston. He is the principal developer behind his<br />

Silicon Valley-based business<br />

Barry Kelly, C.E.T.<br />

Barry has been involved in CAD for 17 years and<br />

has been using Autodesk ® products for 15 years<br />

in design, support, customization, training, and<br />

sales. Barry has worked for private industry, has<br />

been a full-time instructor in Toronto, and<br />

worked for 7 years at Autodesk Canada as the GIS<br />

applications engineer. In 1999, Barry returned to<br />

consulting and has since provided implementation<br />

and training for Autodesk Map and Autodesk<br />

MapGuide ® software. Barry delivers training for<br />

Autodesk as an Autodesk ® Authorized Consultant<br />

in GIS. This is his third year presenting at<br />

Autodesk University ® .<br />

Pete Kelsey<br />

Pete Kelsey is an Autodesk ® Authorized<br />

Consultant, and an Autodesk ® Certified Instructor<br />

based in Cave Creek, Arizona. The founder and<br />

CEO of K-Tek Solutions, Pete has 10 years of<br />

experience with Autodesk ® Land Desktop,<br />

Softdesk ® , and AutoCAD ® software. His experience<br />

encompasses GPS surveying, road design, mine<br />

engineering, utility design, CAD standards<br />

creation, and GIS systems. Pete’s classes are<br />

known for reflecting his years of experience<br />

as a civil designer, CAD manager, and a<br />

semiprofessional musician. He provides unique<br />

technical, instructional, design and IT skills and<br />

experience to AE firms worldwide.<br />

Mark Kiker<br />

Mark is the director of core technologies for<br />

DMJM Design, a multidiscipline architectural/<br />

engineering firm in Orange, California. He is<br />

responsible for Internet, intranet, and CD-ROM<br />

development, and for all electronic engineering<br />

deliverables. He has 20 years of experience with<br />

CAD software, oversees 600-plus CAD seats, and<br />

has implemented and customized CADD<br />

standards for his company. Mark has instructed<br />

more than 450 CAD operators both internally<br />

and for local colleges and technical schools.<br />

William Kilp<br />

Bill has 15 years of experience as a CAD and FM<br />

software consultant and trainer. In 1990 Bill<br />

founded Facility Solutions. Since then, he has<br />

become an Autodesk ® Authorized Consultant, an<br />

Autodesk ® eLearning Provider, and an Autodesk ®<br />

Certified Instructor. In 2001, Bill and two other<br />

partners formed faciliCAD LLC. They developed<br />

and released faciliCAD, a Computer-Aided Facility<br />

Management solution. Bill is responsible for<br />

Product Design and Development, Technical<br />

Support, Sales and all of the day-to-day business<br />

activities.<br />

Jill King<br />

Jill has been drafting since the pre-CAD days. She<br />

learned construction drafting in the Army<br />

National Guard, and has worked in the gold mining<br />

industry for 16 years. When AutoCAD ® came to<br />

her site, she was given the job of training CAD<br />

users. In 1991, she organized the Northeastern<br />

Nevada AutoCAD Group and has been a leader<br />

ever since. She also taught AutoCAD at the local<br />

college. Jill’s love of teaching inspired her to<br />

teach through the AUGI ® Training Program and<br />

now at Autodesk University ® .<br />

KaDe King<br />

KaDe is a trainer/training manager in southern<br />

California and loves to teach AutoCAD ® software.<br />

She has been using AutoCAD since 1987 and<br />

has been a trainer since 1993. Her on-the-job<br />

experience with AutoCAD includes mapping,<br />

civil, manufacturing, and electrical/lighting. She<br />

also teaches Autodesk Map and Autodesk ® Land<br />

Desktop. She found out recently that she has<br />

acquired a nickname in southern California:<br />

KaDe King the “queen” of AutoCAD. No wonder<br />

her husband complains that he is an “AutoCAD<br />

Widower!”<br />

Randy Kintzley<br />

Randy is an engineer with 7 years of experience<br />

in software development at Autodesk, where he<br />

has authored many Bonus and Express Tools.<br />

Previously, Randy worked with AutoCAD ® in<br />

production environments for 6 years. He<br />

implemented the LayerP command and several<br />

other new features that appear in the latest<br />

version of AutoCAD software.<br />

Colleen Klein<br />

Colleen writes implementation guides and<br />

training materials on AutoCAD ® Mechanical software<br />

for Autodesk. She spent more than 7 years<br />

at MasterGraphics delivering consulting, support,<br />

training, and seminars across the country. She has<br />

been training users of 2D and 3D CAD software<br />

for more than 11 years. Colleen is a sought-after<br />

instructor for AutoCAD ® ,AutoCAD Mechanical,<br />

Autodesk Inventor ® , and drafting practices. Her<br />

formal education includes mechanical design,<br />

industrial technology, and management.<br />

Mike Kotanian<br />

Mike brings 12 years of AEC industry experience<br />

to Autodesk’s team of application engineers. He<br />

received a Master of Architecture degree from<br />

the University of Colorado, receiving a Tau Sigma<br />

Delta award for his achievement. After practicing<br />

architecture throughout the western United<br />

States, Mike spent 2 years as a consultant helping<br />

clients customize and implement Autodesk ®<br />

Architectural Desktop and other Autodesk ® -<br />

based solutions. Mike is currently working with<br />

the entire Building Solutions Division product<br />

line to assist Autodesk customers and resellers in<br />

the southeastern United States.<br />

Bill Kramer<br />

Bill is a computer scientist and well-known industry<br />

veteran with more than 20 years of experience<br />

customizing CAD/CAM/CAE systems. He has been<br />

an independent AutoCAD ® developer since 1985.<br />

He has also authored a regular series in CADENCE<br />

magazine since Volume 1, Issue 1.<br />

Phil Kreiker<br />

Phil is Megabyte Master at Looking Glass<br />

Microproducts, an Autodesk ® Registered<br />

Developer, where he is responsible for AutoCAD ®<br />

training, customization, and support. He teaches<br />

AutoCAD at the Colorado School of Mines. Phil<br />

wrote the “CAD Cookbook” column for 10 years<br />

at CADalyst, and was technical editor-at-large for<br />

CADENCE magazine from 1996 to 1997. He is the<br />

author of several books including his latest Visual<br />

LISP ® :A Guide to Artful Programming which is part<br />

of the Programmer’s Series from Autodesk ® Press.<br />

Lucy Kuhns<br />

Lucy is a training specialist at Holman’s Inc., in<br />

Albuquerque, New Mexico and Tempe, Arizona,<br />

where she develops real-world solutions using<br />

the latest surveying, GPS, and CAD technology.<br />

She is also a working partner in a land surveying<br />

company in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Lucy has<br />

presented at several Autodesk University ®<br />

conferences. Lucy is an Autodesk ® Certified<br />

Instructor and has been training and working<br />

with Autodesk ® and Softdesk ® products since<br />

1989. She received her engineering degree from<br />

Ohio State University.
