Travis Jones
Travis is a content developer at Autodesk. He has
worked with AutoCAD ® for more than 13 years
and Autodesk Inventor ® since its inception. He
has developed and delivered training courses to
countless people in person, and over the Internet
in virtual training classes. Travis is the co-author
of six books about Autodesk Inventor, and is a
regular speaker at Autodesk University ® .
Toby Jutras
Toby is a senior applications engineer with
Autodesk, specializing in Civil Engineering
Solutions products. Toby regularly presents at
seminars and technical workshops. His understanding
of the construction, civil engineering,
and surveying fields comes from 10 years of
experience working on engineering projects in
New England. Toby has been the lead designer
on a wide array of project types, including
highway interchanges, fuel storage facilities,
and retail/residential projects.
Kerwin Kassulker
Kerwin is an Autodesk ® Authorized Developer
and Microsoft Application Developer. Kerwin has
worked with a wide variety of Autodesk ® products
for 14 years. Currently, he customizes mechanical
applications for the Autodesk Inventor ® API.
Kerwin holds a master’s degree in Manufacturing
Systems from Southern Illinois University, and has
completed advanced studies in Human
Computer Interfacing at Tufts University in
Boston. He is the principal developer behind his
Silicon Valley-based business

Barry Kelly, C.E.T.
Barry has been involved in CAD for 17 years and
has been using Autodesk ® products for 15 years
in design, support, customization, training, and
sales. Barry has worked for private industry, has
been a full-time instructor in Toronto, and
worked for 7 years at Autodesk Canada as the GIS
applications engineer. In 1999, Barry returned to
consulting and has since provided implementation
and training for Autodesk Map and Autodesk
MapGuide ® software. Barry delivers training for
Autodesk as an Autodesk ® Authorized Consultant
in GIS. This is his third year presenting at
Autodesk University ® .
Pete Kelsey
Pete Kelsey is an Autodesk ® Authorized
Consultant, and an Autodesk ® Certified Instructor
based in Cave Creek, Arizona. The founder and
CEO of K-Tek Solutions, Pete has 10 years of
experience with Autodesk ® Land Desktop,
Softdesk ® , and AutoCAD ® software. His experience
encompasses GPS surveying, road design, mine
engineering, utility design, CAD standards
creation, and GIS systems. Pete’s classes are
known for reflecting his years of experience
as a civil designer, CAD manager, and a
semiprofessional musician. He provides unique
technical, instructional, design and IT skills and
experience to AE firms worldwide.

Mark Kiker
Mark is the director of core technologies for
DMJM Design, a multidiscipline architectural/
engineering firm in Orange, California. He is
responsible for Internet, intranet, and CD-ROM
development, and for all electronic engineering
deliverables. He has 20 years of experience with
CAD software, oversees 600-plus CAD seats, and
has implemented and customized CADD
standards for his company. Mark has instructed
more than 450 CAD operators both internally
and for local colleges and technical schools.
William Kilp
Bill has 15 years of experience as a CAD and FM
software consultant and trainer. In 1990 Bill
founded Facility Solutions. Since then, he has
become an Autodesk ® Authorized Consultant, an
Autodesk ® eLearning Provider, and an Autodesk ®
Certified Instructor. In 2001, Bill and two other
partners formed faciliCAD LLC. They developed
and released faciliCAD, a Computer-Aided Facility
Management solution. Bill is responsible for
Product Design and Development, Technical
Support, Sales and all of the day-to-day business
activities.
Jill King
Jill has been drafting since the pre-CAD days. She
learned construction drafting in the Army
National Guard, and has worked in the gold mining
industry for 16 years. When AutoCAD ® came to
her site, she was given the job of training CAD
users. In 1991, she organized the Northeastern
Nevada AutoCAD Group and has been a leader
ever since. She also taught AutoCAD at the local
college. Jill’s love of teaching inspired her to
teach through the AUGI ® Training Program and
now at Autodesk University ® .
KaDe King
KaDe is a trainer/training manager in southern
California and loves to teach AutoCAD ® software.
She has been using AutoCAD since 1987 and
has been a trainer since 1993. Her on-the-job
experience with AutoCAD includes mapping,
civil, manufacturing, and electrical/lighting. She
also teaches Autodesk Map and Autodesk ® Land
Desktop. She found out recently that she has
acquired a nickname in southern California:
KaDe King the “queen” of AutoCAD. No wonder
her husband complains that he is an “AutoCAD
Widower!”
Randy Kintzley
Randy is an engineer with 7 years of experience
in software development at Autodesk, where he
has authored many Bonus and Express Tools.
Previously, Randy worked with AutoCAD ® in
production environments for 6 years. He
implemented the LayerP command and several
other new features that appear in the latest
version of AutoCAD software.
Colleen Klein
Colleen writes implementation guides and
training materials on AutoCAD ® Mechanical software
for Autodesk. She spent more than 7 years
at MasterGraphics delivering consulting, support,
training, and seminars across the country. She has
been training users of 2D and 3D CAD software
for more than 11 years. Colleen is a sought-after
instructor for AutoCAD ® ,AutoCAD Mechanical,
Autodesk Inventor ® , and drafting practices. Her
formal education includes mechanical design,
industrial technology, and management.
Mike Kotanian
Mike brings 12 years of AEC industry experience
to Autodesk’s team of application engineers. He
received a Master of Architecture degree from
the University of Colorado, receiving a Tau Sigma
Delta award for his achievement. After practicing
architecture throughout the western United
States, Mike spent 2 years as a consultant helping
clients customize and implement Autodesk ®
Architectural Desktop and other Autodesk ® -
based solutions. Mike is currently working with
the entire Building Solutions Division product
line to assist Autodesk customers and resellers in
the southeastern United States.
Bill Kramer
Bill is a computer scientist and well-known industry
veteran with more than 20 years of experience
customizing CAD/CAM/CAE systems. He has been
an independent AutoCAD ® developer since 1985.
He has also authored a regular series in CADENCE
magazine since Volume 1, Issue 1.
Phil Kreiker
Phil is Megabyte Master at Looking Glass
Microproducts, an Autodesk ® Registered
Developer, where he is responsible for AutoCAD ®
training, customization, and support. He teaches
AutoCAD at the Colorado School of Mines. Phil
wrote the “CAD Cookbook” column for 10 years
at CADalyst, and was technical editor-at-large for
CADENCE magazine from 1996 to 1997. He is the
author of several books including his latest Visual
LISP ® :A Guide to Artful Programming which is part
of the Programmer’s Series from Autodesk ® Press.
Lucy Kuhns
Lucy is a training specialist at Holman’s Inc., in
Albuquerque, New Mexico and Tempe, Arizona,
where she develops real-world solutions using
the latest surveying, GPS, and CAD technology.
She is also a working partner in a land surveying
company in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Lucy has
presented at several Autodesk University ®
conferences. Lucy is an Autodesk ® Certified
Instructor and has been training and working
with Autodesk ® and Softdesk ® products since
1989. She received her engineering degree from
Ohio State University.
