Pyridazine and its 3-oxo derivatives, pyridazin-3(2H)-ones are<br />

the representative classes of the 1,2-diazinic compounds. The<br />

synthesis of novel pyridazinone derivatives and investigation of<br />

their chemical and biological behavior have gained more<br />

importance in recent decades, since they are invaluable<br />

compounds proving fascinating practical applications for<br />

medicine, opto-electronics, agriculture, etc. Also, a large number<br />

of pyridazinones are well known as intermediates for drugs and<br />

agrochemicals.<br />

Description<br />

The aim of this work was to synthesize new 6-phenyl-3(2H)pyridazinones<br />

derivatives, substituted at N 2 diazinic position and<br />

their use as organic ligands in complexation reactions with<br />

various metal ions. Thus, a structurally new compound was<br />

obtained, both under classical conditions and unconventional<br />

methods.<br />

The structure of newly compound was proved by spectral<br />

analysis (IR, MS, NMR) and X-ray diffraction. Financial support<br />
