EUROINVENT <strong>2012</strong><br />
Solid waste disposal has become a serious issue for country and<br />
municipal governments throughout the nation. As available<br />
landfill space decreases and the cost of siting and building new<br />
landfill increases, local authorities are struggling to develop<br />
alternative means of meeting<br />
the waste disposal challenge.<br />
A big part of these problems<br />
come from organic waste into<br />
the solid waste. Municipal<br />
solid waste in Malaysia has a<br />
large percent of food waste<br />
(around 50-60 percent) that<br />
makes a lot of problems in<br />
disposal methods. Composter<br />
is an instrument that enhances<br />
natural surroundings which<br />
promotes the natural process of decomposition of solid waste<br />
into compost.<br />

by AC and DC connection. With solar energy as a primary<br />
energy charging source, consumers can charge their power pack<br />

battery capacity is matched with the consumption needs and<br />
equipped with efficient DC lights for longer usage. Therefore,<br />
this product can be used as a mobile generator, that can be<br />
packed, and carried anywhere.<br />

Our research is to study the production of cement board using<br />
rice straw. This board was made from rice straw, cement and<br />
water. Two chemical are added is aluminium sulphate and<br />
sodium silicate. Cement :rice straw mixture by weight was 2.5:1,<br />
2.75:1 and 3.0:1 used to produces a cement board.The bending<br />
strength (MOR, MOE) of cement board were tested according<br />
