The invention relates to a continuously adjustable power unit,<br />

designed to supply the voltage needed by some testing<br />

installations from the electrical equipment laboratories. The<br />

solution consists from a two columns magnetic core, having<br />

placed on one of the column a primary winding divided into two<br />

immobile semi-coils, serial between them and placed at the ends<br />

Description of the column; on the same column is positioned a secondary,<br />

moving, coil, connected in short-circuit.<br />

Applications: The power unit can be used to supply the voltage<br />

needed by some testing installations from the electrical<br />

equipment laboratories.<br />

Advantages: The power unit increases the electrical operating<br />

safety and is leading to the improvement of the electro security<br />

conditions.<br />
