EUROINVENT <strong>2012</strong><br />
(HUSM), they calculate the number of pus cells manually from<br />
offline image which is taken from x10 computerized microscope.<br />
So, this invention which is a system can replace this manual<br />
method by detecting and counting the number of pus cells<br />
automatically from offline sputum image and determine either<br />
the sample is a quality sputum or not. 4 sputum images which<br />
represent one sample of sputum will be processed and the final<br />
result will reveal the number of pus cells in that sputum sample<br />
and either the sputum has a quality or not. Image processing<br />
tools from Matlab is used to develop this system.<br />

This invention relates to the description low-cost biosorbent<br />
mixture utilization for the integrated treatment of aqueous waste<br />
stream, in column-packed system. The biosorbent mixture is<br />
obtained by mechanically shaken of algae biomass, which is a<br />
low-cost biosorbent with high biosorption capacity for numerous<br />
heavy metals (Pb(II), Cd(II), Co(II), etc.), and commercially<br />
available Purolite A-100 exchanger resin, which retain several<br />
anions (such as nitrate and sulphate) from aqueous solutions. The<br />
