Conclusion<br />

In both acute <strong>and</strong> chronic asthma, we can observe a chronic inflammation which has<br />

consolidating characteristics in a tense patient who has an overreaction to stimuli. The<br />

signs <strong>and</strong> symptoms in the chronic asthma patient match those of the patient with the<br />

acute attack. The pathophysiology is similar, albeit less pronounced.<br />
