USE: Buttonhole Slider Foot C<br />

SEW:<br />

Fold medium weight woven fabric in<br />

half with a piece of stabilizer between<br />

<strong>the</strong> layers.<br />

Attach <strong>the</strong> Buttonhole Slider Foot C.<br />

Slide <strong>the</strong> button holder to <strong>the</strong> back.<br />

Place <strong>the</strong> button holder to <strong>the</strong> back.<br />

Place <strong>the</strong> button in <strong>the</strong> adjustable<br />

measuring guide on <strong>the</strong> back of <strong>the</strong> foot.<br />

Push back <strong>the</strong> button holder back against<br />

<strong>the</strong> button to hold it tight.<br />

Position <strong>the</strong> fabric under <strong>the</strong> presser<br />

foot.<br />

Lower <strong>the</strong> buttonhole lever, and push it<br />

away from you.<br />

Hold <strong>the</strong> end of <strong>the</strong> upper thread and<br />

start sewing.<br />

The buttonholes are sewn from <strong>the</strong> front<br />

of <strong>the</strong> presser foot<br />

to <strong>the</strong> back.<br />

To sew ano<strong>the</strong>r identical buttonhole,<br />

raise <strong>the</strong> presser<br />

foot, reposition, and<br />

repeat.<br />

Cut a small neckline in a piece of<br />

feed teeth.<br />

Moves <strong>the</strong> fabric evenly.<br />

Fabric will not get caught on feed teeth.<br />

<strong>Husqvarna</strong> <strong>Viking</strong>s have a box feeding<br />

system.<br />

Feed teeth move straight up, straight<br />

back, and straight down for <strong>the</strong> most<br />

efficient feeding of your project.<br />

Sew <strong>the</strong> seam and overcast <strong>the</strong> edge at<br />

<strong>the</strong> same time to prevent raveling of <strong>the</strong><br />

seam allowance on a woven fabric.<br />

Creates a seam that will stretch on knit<br />

fabrics.<br />
