The pottery studio is now located at the Apex Simms
Street Center, 11706 W. 82nd Ave.
Fused Glass
Fused glass art captures the beauty and rich colors of
stained glass without the need for metal or soldering.
Join other fused glass artists and create a 6x6 plate,
two pieces of jewelry and a picture frame. No previous
glass experience necessary. Returning students
may work on other projects. Additional material fees
may apply to returning students. Please bring safety
glasses!
NEW! We have added a Tuesday afternoon class!
Holiday gifts or decorations will be featured in the
October through December classes.

Pottery • Ages 14+
Discover your creativity and give shape to your passion
for pottery! Beginners use simple hand building
techniques and work toward practicing on the wheel.
Returning students may choose hand building or wheel
throwing. Learn construction and design techniques,
glazing, decoration and firing. Receive individual
attention in a supportive, stimulating atmosphere.
Classes are intended as a creative learning experience;
“production” pottery is discouraged. Instructor Judy
Iannacito has worked in ceramics since 1967 and has
a B.A. in Art Education. Clay costs: $8.65 for a 25 lb.
bag (price includes sales tax of 65 cents).

For continuing and current pottery students, and those
who are oriented by instructor. Students currently enrolled
in the pottery class can register for the discounted
“Lab with Class” fee. When class meets registration
minimum, drop-ins are welcome at $12 (non-res. $14)
per class. Pay drop-in fee by check only.
