And breathed revenge, and fired the<br />

Gods <strong>of</strong> one source, <strong>of</strong> one ethereal<br />

race,<br />

Alike divine, and heaven their native<br />

place;<br />

But Jove the greater; first-born <strong>of</strong><br />

the skies,<br />

And more than men, or gods, supremely<br />

wise.
