<strong>The</strong> battle renewing with double ardour<br />

apprehensions for the Greeks.<br />

Apollo, seeing her descend from Olympus,<br />

joins her near the Scaean gate. <strong>The</strong>y<br />

to protect their fleet and camp, flanked<br />
