Lay rank'd contiguous on the bending<br />

So the strong eagle from his airy<br />

height,<br />

Who marks the swans' or cranes'<br />

embodied flight,<br />

Stoops down impetuous, while they<br />

And, stooping, darkens with his<br />

wings the flood.<br />

Jove leads him on with his<br />
