I am now parted
from those for whom I was created.
A stone yearns, trees arch against glass.
As the sea is still, my heart is green —
at times.
The depths of thoughts are unplumbed.
I have believed in so many dreams,
travelled so many roads,
that my heart aches — at times —
with incurable joy.
Even light breaks against rain-years from time to time,
quivering it sinks, alive, into my interstices,
I am filled
with a wondrous long rainbow.
