Academy in Helsinki, Finland, to the class of her parents,<br />
Prof. Igor Bezrodny and Prof. Mari Tampere-Bezrodny. Later<br />
she studied for Master of Music (MMus) degree both at the<br />
Sibelius Academy and Guildhall School of Music and Drama<br />
with Krzysztof Smietana, Jack Glickman and Yfrah Neaman.<br />
She graduated in 2004 with diploma and she has been teaching<br />
at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre since 2008.<br />
Anna-Liisa has succeeded in many competitions, in 2006<br />
Anna-Liisa won the prestigious Guildhall Gold Medal, playing<br />
Shostakovich Violin Concerto No 1. In 2005 she was awarded<br />
the PROMIS Award for talented young musicians from the<br />
London Symphony Orchestra, and in the same year she<br />
received an honorary prize from the Pro Musica Foundation<br />
in Finland.<br />
She has participated in several master classes with such<br />
outstanding professors as Herman Krebbers, Yfrah Neaman,<br />
Igor Ozim, Liana Issakadze, Jaime Laredo, and many others.<br />
She has constantly been invited to participate in numerous<br />
festivals, playing in both chamber ensembles as well as solo.<br />
Anna-Liisa’s playing has been heard on several occasions on<br />
Finnish and Estonian National TV and National Radio, as well<br />
as on NBC and BBC Radio 3. She has appeared as a soloist with<br />
a great number of orchestras, as a soloist Anna-Liisa has also<br />
collaborated with maestros such as Leif Segerstam, Eri Klas,<br />
Arvo Volmer, Paul Mägi etc., and she plays extensively with<br />
the renowned pianist Ivari Ilja. Currently she is holding the<br />
prestigious Leverhulme Chamber Fellowship at the Guildhall<br />
School of Music and Drama.<br />
Anna-Liisa’s future plans include several concerts in Finland<br />
and Russia and releasing a debut CD. She will have her debut<br />
recital in Berlin Konzerthaus in October <strong>2009</strong>.<br />
Čiurlionise Keelpillikvartett, üks dünaamilisemaid Leedu<br />
kammermuusikaansambleid, on nüüdseks tegutsenud 37<br />
aastat. Kvartett loodi 1968, mil selle liikmed õppisid veel Leedu<br />
Muusikaakadeemias. Hiljem täiendasid ansambli liikmed oma<br />
mängutehnikat ja muusikalist väljendusoskust prof Dmitri<br />
Šebalini, Vladimir Ovtšareki ja Vilmos Tatrai <strong>–</strong> Borodini,<br />
Tanejevi ja Tatrai kvartettide liikmete <strong>–</strong> käe all.
