Euroopa, sealhulgas ka näiteks La Scala teatris Milanos,<br />

San Carlo teatris Naapolis, Carlo Felice teatris Genovas ja<br />

Soome Rahvusooperis. Tema repertuaari kuuluvad enam kui<br />

paarkümmend kuulsat metsosoprani rolli, mida ta on esitanud<br />

lisaks Viini Riigiooperile ka teistes olulistes ooperimajades. Ta<br />

on töötanud paljude hästituntud lavastajatega, nagu Franco<br />

Zeffirelli, Giorgio Strehler, Robert Carsen, Dario Fo, Michael<br />

Hampe, Stephane Braunschweig, William Kentridge, Philippe<br />

Arlaud jpt. Annely Peebo on osalenud Rossini „Tuhkatriinu“<br />

esitamisel Aix-en-Provence’i festivalil ning Tobias Ofenbaueri<br />

ooperi „Penthesilea“ maailmaesiettekandel Viini festivalil ja<br />

turneel Jaapanis.<br />

Annely Peebo on ka väga nõutud barokk- ja soololaulja,<br />

esinenud kuulsates kontserdisaalides üle kogu Euroopa<br />

ning teiste seas Salzburgi, Bregenzi ja Schuberti festivalidel.<br />

Tema laiaulatuslik kontserdirepertuaar hõlmab kõigi ajastute<br />

heliloojate tähtsamad teosed ning temaga koostööd teinud<br />

dirigentide nimistusse kuuluvad teiste seas ka sellised nimed<br />

nagu Claudio Abbado, Placido Domingo, Sir Neville Marriner,<br />

Paavo Järvi, Fabio Luisi, Manfred Honeck, Ulf Schirmer, Ton<br />

Koopman.<br />

2002 oli Annely Peebo Tallinnas toimunud Eurovisiooni<br />

Lauluvõistluse üheks õhtujuhiks, 2003 suvel astus ta Tallinna<br />

Lauluväljakul üles koos Andrea Bocelliga. Talvel 2006 laulis<br />

ta koos Juan Diego Florez’i ja Grace Bumbry’ga kontserdil<br />

„Jõulud Viinis“. Et Annely Peebo räägib viite keelt, sai ta<br />

võimaluse mängida peaosa auhindu võitnud rahvusvahelises<br />

muusikafilmis “Les leçons de ténèbres“, mis valmis koostöös<br />

France 3 ja Artega.<br />

Mezzo-soprano Annely Peebo (1971) has studied choral<br />

conducting and piano in Tallinn Music High School. She sang<br />

in the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir in 1990<strong>–</strong>1994<br />

and continued her studies at the University of Music and<br />

Performing Arts in Vienna, in the singing and opera class with<br />

Prof. Gerhard Kahry. She debuted at the Vienna State Opera<br />

in 1997.<br />

Annely Peebo has sung in many opera houses over Europe,<br />

including La Scala in Milan, San Carlo theatre in Naples, Carlo<br />

Felice theatre in Genova, Finnish National Opera, just to mention<br />

a few. At the Vienna State Opera and many other important<br />

houses she was able to develope a wide-ranging repertoire<br />

including more than twenty famous mezzo-soprano roles.<br />

The versatile artist has worked with numerous well-known<br />

directors such as Franco Zeffirelli, Giorgio Strehler, Robert<br />

Carsen, Dario Fo, Michael Hampe, Stephane Braunschweig,<br />

William Kentridge, Philippe Arlaud, and many others. Annely<br />

Peebo was seen in a Rossini’s „Cenerentola“ production at the<br />

festival in Aix-en-Provence as well as at the world premiere<br />

of the opera „Penthesilea“ (Ofenbauer) in the Viennese <strong>Festival</strong><br />

and on tour in Japan.<br />

Annely Peebo is also a very demanded baroque and recital<br />

singer. She has sung in famous concert halls all over the<br />

Europe and at the Salzburg, Bregenz and Schubert festivals<br />

among others. Her extensive concert repertoire covers the most
