Breed 3D and have awoken on
the medical bay of the giant
battlecruiser which was sent to
destroy your previous vessel
Osiris 3. This giant battlecruiser
is, in fact, an alien spaceship.
After hunting around you find
teleporter which Instantly
transports you to a nearby
planet. You then re-appear
in what seems like a courtyard
with crumbling monuments hiding
an alien base. Your job Is to
explore and then destroy.
As with every Doom game, the norm is for your
10 weapon to dangle feebly at the foot of the
screen and Alien Breed 3D 2 is no exception. The
guns have been beefed up so much, you are

The part you've all been waiting for
obviously, how it plays and, more importantly, is
better than the original? Well my answer to th
question is... yes! From what we've seen th
game is looking absolutely superb
Alien Breed 3D 2 i5 better than Doom. If you
playing Doom on the PC for half an hour and the
play Alien Breed 3D, it will come clear which o
is the best. After all, the Doom phase on the PC
slowly passing and it may be time for the Am
to get in there.
Reflections
As I've already mentioned, Allen Breed 3D was
huge success and this is exactly the reason f
producing the sequel. Team 17 have had time t
reflect on what they could have put in and wh
they could have taken out, so with new ideas
their minds, what is In store in the future?
Alien Breed 3D 2 will incorporate 16 ma
levels, with a Lo-res screen resolution for
standard Al200 and a Hi-res 1 xl pixel ratio
accelerated machines. You can switch betw
resolutions using the numeric keyboard and
also reduce and enlarge the screen size to h
you prefer. Also, there will be graphical touc
such as light sourcing, gourad shading, and tr
parent objects which should make for
absolute graphical feast.
