Club H Fitness has opened its fourth facility
in New York City, a luxurious 30,000-squarefoot
gym and spa situated in the Murray Hill
section of the city. Each of the young chain’s
clubs is intended to reflect the community in
which it’s located and has been conceived by
Fabiano Designs to achieve that goal. The
Fabiano’s Club H
$10-million renovation of the new Club H
Fitness made use of materials specifically
chosen to appeal to all of the senses and to embody the Murray Hill aesthetic. Details
include natural American walnut floors, iridescent mosaic tiles, backlit hand-cast glass
that serves as a curtain wall, 1960’s-style cast concrete block screens, and a 30-foot
moss wall. “We want members to feel that they’re part of their community—fully
integrated, homegrown, and not that they just landed there,” explains Design Director
Rudy Fabiano. —|
