aXsGUARD Gatekeeper Single Sign-On Utility (SSO) How To v1.6 Installation 3 Installation 3.1 Overview This chapter covers the steps to successfully install and configure the aXsGUARD Gatekeeper SSO Authentication Utility. Topics covered in this chapter include: aXsGUARD Gatekeeper Windows Domain configuration settings. The SSO Authentication Utility installation. 3.2 Windows Domain Settings If you are not in a Microsoft Domain, you may skip to section 3.3. Only authentication requests coming from registered domains are accepted. You also should add any subdomain(s), if any. Before installing the aXsGUARD Gatekeeper SSO Authentication Utility, you need to verify the Microsoft Domain(s) used in your network: 1. Log on to the aXsGUARD Gatekeeper as explained in the aXsGUARD Gatekeeper System Adminstrator How To, which is accessible by clicking on the permanently available Documentation button in the Administrator Tool. 2. Navigate to Authentication > General. 3. Add / verify your Windows Domain(s) and as shown below. 4. Click on Update if you have modified any settings. Right-click on System and Select Properties. Click on the Computer Name Tab. Windows Vista: Click on Start > Control Panel > System and Maintenance > System. If your computer is connected to a domain, under Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings, you will see the name of the domain your computer belongs to.
