Street, February 9. A very pleasant<br />

T. J. Sweeney and H. H. McGarvey<br />
spent a few days the past month making<br />
a check of the various work on<br />

Miss Esther Rlgdon is already planning<br />
her vacatlon. It is wonderful to<br />
look over the varlou$ maps and plan<br />
for a six months' vacatlon to be crowded<br />
into one llttle week.<br />
H. H. McGarvey thought Santa ClauS<br />
had come a llttle late when he discovered<br />
hls wood shed full of wood recently.<br />
It was rather disappdnting<br />
when he found the wood really belonged<br />
to Mr. W. H. Stubblefleld and had<br />
been unloaded by mlstake.<br />

day recently the ladles of the Method-<br />
ist Church had a enrprise party for her.<br />

ed. The last game to be played waa<br />
the blind Ioldlng of the members. When<br />
Mother Ballad removed the bandage<br />
from her eyes she found an Immense<br />
birthday cake wllh 74 llghted candles.<br />

a temporary vacancy in the general<br />
office for about three weeks. Miss Far-<br />
re11 made a number of friends during<br />
her short stay and we would like to<br />
see her a regular member of our force.<br />

James Morgan has returned from<br />
several days' stay In the hospital.<br />
James had hls tonsils removed and<br />
said he found It quite inconvenient to<br />
quit eatlng for a few days.<br />
Mrs. W. E. Burgess, of St. Louis, was<br />
a visitor in ChaEee for a few days lasl<br />
month.<br />
Mrs. James Ferguson was called to<br />
Hyannls, Neb., account death of her<br />
mother. Mrs. Smith, who resided at<br />
that point. Our sympathy is extend-<br />
ed to Mrs. Ferguson in her bereave-<br />
