This seminar is designed to help students map the major contours in the study of
the Old and New Testaments. All students during their two years of residency will
participate in a seminar (meeting approximately five times per academic year),
with each session to be led by at least one faculty member on a topic of his or her
choosing (normally in an area of the faculty member’s expertise). Selected readings
will be distributed as appropriate in advance of each seminar. The Chair of the
department will be responsible for communicating faculty assignments and the
slate of topics to be covered in any given year.
