Charts Restricting the Chart by Fields When you create a trend chart, you filter your data by specific time intervals, dates, and fields. For example, you might want your trend chart to show the number of submitted problems each day from March 1, 2000 to April 15, 2000. To filter trend chart data: 1. Click the Fields tab. The Fields panel appears. 2. From the Type drop-down menu, choose an interval for each point on the graph, such as Day. The available intervals are: Hour Day Week Month Quarter Year 3. From the Start drop-down menu, choose a starting date from the calendar, for example, Feb. 15, 2000. The default is the current system date. 420 Source Integrity Professional Edition
Change Integrity Charts 4. From the End drop-down menu, choose an ending date from the calendar, for example, March 21, 2000. The default is the current system date. 5. From the Field drop-down menu, choose a field to monitor, such as Type. Note You can not create trend charts using non-absolute values, such as text-based and interger-based fields. For example, Summary and Build are not selectable from the Field drop-down menu. To specify a graph: 1. Click the Graph tab. The Graph panel appears. 2. To specify the background color of the chart, click Edit in the Background Color field, then select a color from the Select Color dialog box. 3.
