The Windows interface

or a project). In the previous diagram, the Source Integrity menus that
are available when working with a project or sandbox are displayed.
Toolbar
Immediately below the menu bar is an optional toolbar that provides
easy access to the most commonly used Source Integrity commands.
Toolbar functions are executed by clicking the appropriate icon with
the left mouse button. If a command is not currently available, its
toolbar icon is grayed out.
Two toolbars are available for Source Integrity: one for archiverelated
functions and the other for project-related functions. When an
Archive window is current in the application window, the archive
toolbar is displayed; when a Project window is current, Source
Integrity automatically presents the project toolbar. Both toolbars can
be modified in the Toolbar panel of the Personal Configuration dialog
box. To set up a toolbar, choose the one you want to work with from
the Select Toolbar box, and the remaining options in the panel act on
the selected toolbar.
Filter List
Beside the toolbar is an optional list of built-in filters that allows you
to focus your view on a subset of project members you are currently
interested in. Only those members that meet the criteria specified by
the filter are displayed. You can decide whether to display this list of
filters through the View menu. Choose Filters when you want the list
of filters to be available, and deselect it when you want to hide the list
from view.
Note The list of built-in filters is disabled when there is no project or
sandbox currently loaded, as well as when you are working in the
Archive window.
Workspace
Everything between the toolbar and the status bar is considered the
workspace. This is where Source Integrity displays windows
containing your projects, sandboxes, or archives. For example, when
you open a project, its members are presented in a Project window in
the workspace.
When you first start Source Integrity, the workspace is empty.
