158 had an ILO reading ≥ 1/0, while 103 had an ILO reading ≥ 1/1.<br />

In Table 15, more than 14,000 workers were studied, of whom approximately 12% were<br />

classified as silicotic. The 12% is likely an underestimate of the incidence of silicosis due to lack<br />

of follow-up by chest radiographs during life in some cohorts and to the lack of an autopsy after<br />

death.<br />
