he challenges facing emerging black farmers
within the Western Cape are immense. Constantly
changing political regimes, access to
finance, education, training & availability of reasonably
priced land are all constraints that inhibit previously
disadvantaged farmers. Personal apathy is often the
result of these constraints that leave would-be farmers
disenchanted, un-empowered and discouraged from
entering the agricultural sector. Potential emerging entrepreneurs
critical to the economic future of South Africa
are as a result dissuaded from becoming farmers.
Seda is at the forefront of providing a platform specifically
aimed at assisting small scale agriculturalists and
entrepreneurs within the agri sector.
