offensive line. He appeared in four games on the season. He also worked out at tight end<br />

as an extra blocker. Previous: Hudgins originally signed with University of Missouri out of<br />

high school. High School: Hudgins was a three-sport standout for Van Vleck High School,<br />

was a two-way star at tight end and defensive end. He led his school to a district championship<br />

as a senior in 2004 and to the 3rd round of the state playoffs, starting both sides<br />

of the ball in every game. He was named First Team all-state as a tight end and defensive<br />

end by the <strong>Texas</strong> Sports Writers Association as a senior, and was a three-time all-area<br />

and all-district First Team pick on both sides of the ball. He also earned First Team Class<br />

2A All-Houston honors in 2004 and Second Team All-Houston (all “A” classes) recognition.<br />

He was named to the All-region team as a senior in basketball, also earning district MVP<br />

to go along with First Team all-district performances in basketball in 2002, 2003 and 2004.<br />

He took first place in the discus at the 2005 UIL state track championship with a throw<br />

of 177’3” and earlier (2004) third place in the same event with a toss of 163’3”. He was<br />

the regional champion in the discus, both years as well. Personal: Hudgins is the son of<br />

Anthony and Patricia Hudgins and is studying Industrial Management and Technology.<br />

Previous: Hunter signed to James Madison University and was the 88th ranked quarterback<br />

coming out of high school by ESPNU. High School: Hunter was a three-year<br />

starting quarterback for Coach Mike Behrans at Sachse High School. As a senior, he<br />

was First Team All-District 10-5A after completing 77 of 156 passes for 1,239 yards and<br />

8 touchdowns. He also rushed for 686 yards on 164 attempts and 14 touchdowns. As a<br />

junior, he led the district in passing and completed 108 of 203 passes for 1,678 yards and<br />

14 touchdowns, while rushing for 630 yards and 10 touchdowns. He was team Offensive<br />

MVP for Sachse in 2008 and 2009. He also played varsity basketball. Personal: Hunter is<br />

the son of Joyce and Henry Hunter III and is studying kinesiology.<br />

Previous: Johnson played two seasons at College of the Canyons. In his first year he<br />

played defensive back and made eight tackles with three pass breakups. During his<br />

sophomore season in 2009 he was moved to running back. He had 26 carries for 147<br />

yards and a touchdown while returning seven kickoffs for 153 yards. High School:<br />

Johnson played football at West Orange High School. Personal: Johnson is studying<br />

sociology. His brother, Arron Fisher, played two seasons for the <strong>Javelina</strong>s.<br />

2011: Joseph red-shirted his first year at <strong>Texas</strong> A&M-<strong>Kingsville</strong>. High School: Joseph<br />

earned Second Team All-District 23-5A honors in 2010 at Elkins High School. He set a<br />

school record with 10 sacks during the season. Personal: Joseph is the son of Joel and<br />

Joy Joseph and is studying Kinesiology.<br />

2011: Kelly red-shirted his first year at <strong>Texas</strong> A&M-<strong>Kingsville</strong>. Previous: Kelly played one<br />

year at Santa Monica College under head coach Robert Taylor. High School: Kelly played<br />

three sports at Arleta High School. He earned first team all-league, all-city and all-area<br />

honors en route to leading his team to a perfect 14-0 record and a City Championship. He<br />

was named a Scholar-Athlete on two occasions. Personal: Kelly is the son of Archie and<br />

Delilah Kelly and is studying Criminology.<br />

2011: LaFleur played in all 11 games for the team. He made his first career reception at<br />

Incarnate Word. He had three catches for 43 yards in an overtime win at Angelo State. He<br />

finished the year with nine catches for 87 yards. High School: LaFleur earned all-district<br />

honors at Cypress Woods High School as a senior. Personal: LaFleur is the son of<br />

Cedrick and Tammie LaFleur and is studying Business Management.<br />
