He had two tackles against Abilene Christian. 2010: Ruelas redshirted his first year at Texas A&M-Kingsville. High School: Ruelas earned second team All-Victoria Advocate and first team TAPPS Division II All-District 3 honors at St. Joseph HS as a senior. He earned TAPPS Division II All-State honors after rushing for 1,353 yards and 15 touchdowns. He led St. Joseph to three state playoff appearances including a Semifinal appearance in 2007. He took all the kick offs in the final three games of the year picking up two touch backs against Abilene Christian. High School: Salinas was a soccer star at Sharyland High School. Personal: Salinas is the son of Heriberto and Norma Salinas and is studying Civil Engineering. #41 Mark Savere Defensive Back Sophomore • 1VL • 6-0 • 215 San Antonio, TX (Warren HS) 2011: Savere played in the final nine games of the season. He had a season high four tackles and a half tackle for loss against Lindenwood. He forced a fumble against Tarleton State. He finished the year with 16 tackles in a backup role. High School: Savere earned first team all-district and second team all-area honors at Warren High School as a senior. He led the team with 147 tackles during his senior year. He led his team to three Bi-District championships and three Area finals. Personal: Savere is the son of Mark Savere and Lisa Williams and is studying Business Management. He cousin played, Eric Brown, played in the NFL. He had 28 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 10 games as a sophomore. As a freshman, he dominated play with 49 tackles, 10.0 tackles for loss and 4.0 sacks as an interior lineman. High School: Savage played football at Flint Southwestern High School. Personal: Savage is studying Business Management. #72 Devin Shaw Offensive Line Junior • 2VL • 6-4 • 310 Katy, TX (Seven Lakes HS) 2011: Shaw became a regular starter at right guard for the Javelinas. He helped block for All-American running back Jonathan Woodson and was part of a protection unit that allowed both Sherman Batiste and Robert Armstrong to earn first team all-conference honors at wide receiver. 2010: Shaw was a backup on the offensive line, but still saw action in five games. He earned valuable experience in his first year traveling with the team. 2009: Shaw red-shirted his first year at Texas A&M-Kingsville. High School: Shaw was listed among the Greater Houston Top 250 prospects list at #98, the Texas 5A Players to Watch and Dave Campbell’s Texas Football as a top prospect. He is also a second degree black belt in Taekwondo. Personal: Shaw is the son of Elvis and Maria Shaw and is studying Management.

High School: Shows helped lead Calallen High School to three state playoff appearances, including a Semifinal spot as a senior. As a senior, he was named the Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman in the district and earned First Team All-South Texas and honorable mention All-State honors. As a junior, he was a first team all-district and Third Team All-South Texas selection. He was named Academic All-District on two occasions. Personal: Shows is the son of Lindsey and Mary Shows and is studying Natural Gas Engineering. #94 Marquis Singleton Defensive End Senior • 2VL • 6-4 • 260 Decatur, IL (Texas Southern) 2011: Singleton started four games and played in all 11 at defensive end. He had six tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, a half sack, fumble recovery and a pass breakup in the season opening win at Central Washington. He had a half sack against Minot State. He picked up his first full sack at Angelo State. He made a season high seven tackles against A&M- Commerce. He finished the year with 6.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks. 2010: Singleton appeared in six games as part of the defensive line rotation. He missed a few games due to injury. He had two tackles and a half tackle for loss against Texas A&M-Commerce. He recovered a fumble at Southwestern Oklahoma and had a tackle for loss against Southeastern Oklahoma. Previous: Singleton played at Texas Southern under head coach Johnnie Cole. High School: Singleton was a three-time All-Conference and All-Area selection at Harmony Community HS. He earned first team honors in 2006 when he was also an honorable mention All-State selection. He led the team to three state playoff appearances. Personal: Stager is the son of Randall and Paula Stager and is studying Criminology. #18 Matt Stoll Place Kicker/Punter Junior • 2VL • 6-0 • 185 College Station, TX (A&M Consolidated HS) 2011: Stoll had one of the most accurate field goal kicking seasons in school history going 9-of-10. He was named the LSC Special Teams Player of the Week after booting a game-tying 49-yard field goal as time expired at Angelo State. He went 3-for-3 in both extra points and field goals in the game. He drilled two fields against both A&M-Commerce and Tarleton. His only miss of the year was due to a bad snap that led to a blocked kick. He was 34-of-41 on extra-point tries. He averaged 59.0 yards on his kickoffs. 2010: Stoll was the team’s main punter for the first nine games of the season and was also used on kickoffs. He had four kicks for an average of 46.2 yards with a long of 61 yards at East Central. He had a season long kick of 62 yards and had three kicks downed inside the 20yard line at Tarleton State. He averaged 55.4 yards per kickoff and 36.9 yards per punt on the season. 2009: Stoll red-shirted his first year at Texas A&M-Kingsville. High School: Stoll earned Second Team All-District 12-AAAAA as both a kicker and punter as a senior. Personal: Stoll is the son of Mike and Debi Stoll and is studying in Exercise Science.
