2011: Woods did not play in the season opener, but then starter nine of the final 10 games
of the year at right guard. He was part of a unit that blocked for an All-American running
back and a pair of first team all-conference wide receivers. Overall, the offense averaged
284 passing and 454 total yards of offense per game. 2010: Woods was a consistent
starter at right tackle. He was part of a unit that continued to improve as the season progressed.
He helped pave the way for 325-yard team rushing performance at Southwestern
Oklahoma. The offensive line allowed one sack over a stretch of four games during the
middle of the season after allowing 13 sacks in the first six games of the year. Previous:
Woods played one season at Tyler Junior College. High School: Woods played
for Northland Christian HS. He earned first team all-conference and second team TAPPS
3A All-State honors as a senior. He led his team to State Semifinals. He graduated with
honors. Personal: Woods is the son of Larry and Monica Woods and is studying Business
Management.
