SIEMPELKAMP | MACHINERY AND PLANTS 10 | 11 Not very far from YILDIZ Entegre and also located in Kocaeli is YILDIZ Sunta, a company specializing in the production of MDF furniture boards and floorboard with Ahmet YILDIZ as the manager. The location incorporates two <strong>Siempelkamp</strong> lines for MDF with 8’ x 23 m and 7’ x 55.3 m Conti- Roll ® presses. These presses manufacture MDF – of which 25% is unfinished, 30% coated, and 45% laminate flooring. 20% of the produced boards are exported to countries in the East. 70% of all raw materials are imported. To ensure a position as full-line distributor for the furniture industry YILDIZ Sunta is also orienting itself towards particleboard. In December 2007 a contract was signed with GIM Export for the supply of a new <strong>Siempelkamp</strong> line for particleboard with a thickness ranging from 4 to 42 mm. Integral parts of this order are a 7’ x 42.1 m Conti- Roll ® press, engineering carried out by Dr. E. Schnitzler, a Büttner dryer, and a cooling and stacking line as well as a storage system by SHS. The changes to the infrastructure and the construction of the new production hall have started; the first board is forecasted for April 2009. From then on a daily capacity of 2,000 m 3 is anticipated! The foundation works and the construction of the production hall are progressing Ahmet YILDIZ and family
