P rod-IQ® is based on a wide range of modules and covers the
areas of production data management, online quality forecasting
as well as servicing and maintenance. Prod-IQ ® is divided
into the separate areas of Prod-IQ.basics, Prod-IQ.business,
Prod-IQ.quality, and Prod-IQ.maintenance.
The experiences with Prod-IQ ® have demonstrated that variations
in quality can be permanently reduced. Customers benefit from
significant material savings of more than 2.5% and, at the same
time, from a reduction of the scrap material rate by 1%. For the
relevant quality parameters online quality forecasts are achieved
with 95% accuracy. Downtimes are reduced by up to 2.5%.

One large advantage of the tool: The availability of reliable, up-todate
and need-driven (management) data adds more transparency
and comparability to the production process. Production parameters
are precisely determined and evaluated. The database
provides answers to questions such as: What is when, where and
to what amount used for the production of a board? The answers

Prod-IQ ® offers numerous features to achieve higher productivity.
The ability to generate reliable and up-to-date management data
on plant availability, capacity, consumption, and cost is one of the
system’s strong points. Furthermore, the system allows the online
quality forecasting of critical material parameters such as internal
bond, bending strength, thickness swelling, and surface soundness
which can otherwise only be determined through destructive
material tests in a laboratory. Condition-based servicing and
maintenance are also part of the system. The tools also allow for a
quick start-up after a shutdown and a continuous improvement in
the operation of Siempelkamp plants.
