Learning from my daughter
In the meantime our daughter is four years old. For me it is amazing what and how fast a child learns. To some sense it is a small competition.
Can I do it at the same speed? How do her learning strategies change? That is very useful that I can learn from her. I can learn from her what
are useful strategies. I don’t need to do everything per trial and error. That helps me a lot.

Text and songs
If I together with my daughter read or sing songs I am some times my self amazed of how good singing songs is working. All of a sudden texts
and songs appear in my brain that I would have never managed to formulate on my own. All of a sudden I can remember whole text parts of
songs. Normally my memory so still so week that I forget a sentence if I reach the end when saying it. But as soon as I sing a song with my
daughter it goes like an automatism and everything is there again.

Knowledge
Quite often I know that I know something but can’t remember what it was. Actually a large part of my daily routine consists of this. I know that I
knew something but can’t determine exactly what it was. But only the fact that I am trying to remember something is very important. Then I try
to move heaven and earth to get to a success full result. As I said already the fact that I remember something is very important. It is worse if
you don’t even know that you forgot something. Then the whole knowledge is lost.
