SUCCESSIVE PROMOTION<br />
As we enter the business end of the season, our<br />
first team still has a good opportunity to<br />
achieve a third successive promotion, and<br />
reach the top tier of <strong>The</strong> Welsh League. With<br />
nine games remaining we sit 7th in the table, 3<br />
points off a promotion place, with many of our<br />
rivals having played more games. Our<br />
management team are still extremely<br />
optimistic that we can achieve promotion,<br />
firstly because we have a fantastic squad of<br />
players, and secondly because we have not<br />
played anyone in this league that we are<br />
incapable of beating, a point borne out in our<br />
last home game, when we beat runaway league<br />
leaders Goytre, convincingly. Our season<br />

finishes on May 11th, and so the next 5 weeks<br />
will be a very exciting, if not nervous time for<br />
our club.<br />
Our strength in depth is demonstrated by our<br />
Under 18s side topping their very competitive<br />
league, and our reserves sitting a very credible<br />
3rd in their equally competitive Welsh Reserve<br />
League, so on the field we look set for a very<br />
exciting end to the season.<br />
Off the field we continue to receive tremendous<br />
support from our sponsors. We now boast<br />
almost 70 sponsors, all from local businesses<br />
who have given their support, and enabled us<br />
to achieve the levels we have reached. Our<br />
policy has always been to reward our sponsors<br />
by proactively promoting their businesses in<br />
our match programme and our pitch-side<br />
banners. We have also created a business<br />
directory of our sponsors,(shown opposite),<br />
and all players and members are encouraged<br />
to patronise these business wherever<br />
possible.<strong>The</strong> feedback we have received from<br />
our sponsors has been very positive, and they<br />
are pleased with the coverage their businesses<br />
have enjoyed. At the end of the season we will<br />
hold a sponsors night at the club, where all of<br />
our sponsors will be invited join us for an<br />
evening where we can formally thank them for<br />
their support.<br />
We are always looking for more sponsors, and<br />
