MAGIC WORDS
Slick, snappy writing has become something of
a lost art these days. I grew up dreaming of
working in magazines, eventually honing my
craft professionally in print and online. Now,
with my labour of love start-up, I’m hoping to
help the community solve their word-related
dilemmas!
Businesses: stuck when it comes to sales
letters or newsletters? Looking for SEOfriendly
web copy or attention-grabbing
Tweets? Need a brochure penning but don't
have the in-house resources? Want to dazzle
customers with a catchy advert but lack
inspiration? Serious or funny, corporate or
funky – I love these kinds of challenges.
Students: as an experienced editor, I can help
you polish up or proofread those troublesome
essays. Jobseekers: I can’t guarantee I’ll get
you the gig, but I can transform a humdrum
CV into a compelling statement, or pen a cover
letter that'll blow a potential employer away.
Web design is a speciality, too – whether you’re
late to the online party and want a site for
your local business, or simply fancy setting up
a homepage where you can host and share
family photo albums.
I even do ‘quirky’ – so if you're after something
more personal, like a strongly worded
complaint or a heartfelt thank you letter, I’m
your man. I, er, draw the line at romantic
poetry though!
The best thing is that, as a local, I’m more than
