DIG FOR VICTORY AT
MAGOR SCHOOL
A number of parents, children, and
grandparents have been trying to get Magor
Church in Wales School gardens in shape
ready for spring. The School’s PTA have done a
grand job in organising volunteers to bring
their forks, spades and goodwill to create
garden spaces for our children to enjoy.
The PTA is keen to plant things, which the
children can quickly see the benefit from and
are concentrating on filling the available space
with edibles, which can be picked and eaten
straight from the plant. If you would like to get
involved then we’d be delighted to have you
join the weekend digging team. Alternatively,
perhaps you could help with a little
maintenance over the growing season?
If you don’t fancy gardening or digging then
perhaps you have some plants to spare? We
received some very kind donations, but we
would love some more. If you can split your
strawberries, raspberry
canes or indeed if you
have any peas, beans,
carrots, exciting edibles
or pollinator friendly
plants to spare please
get in touch with Magor
Church in Wales Primary
on 01633 880327.
