Food Services is a prerequisite to all other
courses in the program.
Admission Requirements
Those currently employed in the food service
department of a Health Care Facility, who
provide a letter of recommendation from their
supervisor receive priority. *Applicants who do
not currently work in the kitchen of a Health
Care Facility will have a field work requirement
of 60 hours in order to receive the certificate.

emphasis on entree, soup, starch, fruit and
beverage preparation. Explore allergies,
intolerances, multiculturalism and catering. No
