Metropolitan
Racecourse Award
Moonee Valley Racing Club’s Racecourse And Facilities Manager,
Martin Synan has been awarded the Metropolitan Racecourse
Managers Award at the 16th Annual Australian Racecourse
Managers Association (ARMA) conference held at the Gold
Coast earlier this year.
The award is recognition from the ARMA for significant
contribution to a metropolitan racecourse with the award being
voted on by the stewards.
At the conference and awards ceremony, there was 137 delegates
coming from all states of Australia, Hong Kong, england, New
Zealand and the uSA with 46 racecourses, training centres, and
industry bodies represented.
Martin has had a distinguished career at Moonee Valley for
over 28 years including holding the position of Racecourse and
Facilities Manager for the last 3 years.
