Are operators trained on the
use and reaction to Error and
Mistake Proofing systems?
Has the standard LPA been
updated as needed (e.g.
additional questions, auditors,
etc.) for the volume change,
especially related to operator
support and training?
Are operators trained in the
nonconformance handling
procedures?
CONTAINMENT
Are trained personnel readily
available for immediate
implementation of containment
and corrective action when
nonconformances are
discovered?
Operators are trained/certified in
Error/Mistake Proofing systems,
verification, and reaction plans.
The normal LPA has been
enhanced to reflect the special
circumstance associated with the
volume reduction. Additional
management auditors may be
required (e.g. Manufactruing
Engineers etc).
Operators understand how to
handle nonconforming material.
Containment (at both the Supplier
and Chrysler facilities) and
corrective actions are
implemented immediately upon
discovery of nonconforming
material.
